This product is a pH-dependent antibody against human Tissue factor. The pH-switched mAb was engineered by the incorporation of histidine residues into the variable regions of Tissue factor antibody, which could lead to pH-biased Tissue factor binding. The pH-responsive antibody would facilitate precise Tissue factor-targeting of cells and tissues, taking advantage of natural differences in pH across various tissues and subcellular compartments. Human Tissue Factor, or Factor III, is a transmembrane protein that is the primary initiator of the extrinsic coagulation pathway. It is essential for blood coagulation and is often overexpressed in tumors, contributing to a hypercoagulable state.
