Mouse Anti-UPB1 Recombinant Antibody (VS-0326-YC1204)

This product is an anti-UPB1 antibody panel that contains two antibodies targeting human and rat UPB1. UPB1 is an enzyme that catalyzes the final step in the catabolism of pyrimidines, converting N-carbamyl-beta-alanine to beta-alanine. UPB1 signaling is essential for the detoxification of pyrimidine metabolites. Deficiency in UPB1 leads to BUP-1 deficiency, which can cause neurological symptoms and increased toxicity to 5-fluorouracil. Two monoclonal antibodies, VS-0326-YC1033 and VS-0326-YC1034, directed against UPB1 were used for in vitro assays including Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP) and Western Blot (WB).
