Mouse Anti-WAPL Recombinant Antibody (WA773)

The anti-WAPL recombinant antibody (WA773) reacts with human WAPL. WAPL is the primary protein responsible for the removal of the Cohesin complex from sister chromatids. It opens the cohesin ring to allow DNA dissociation. WAPL signaling is essential for regulating the 3D genome architecture (loop extrusion) and for the correct timing of chromosome segregation during mitosis; its overactivity can lead to aneuploidy. The anti-WAPL antibody (WA773) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
