This product is a recombinant Human antibody that can recognize ZIKV ED3. Human monoclonal antibody (mAb), ZKA190, that potently cross-neutralizes multi-lineage ZIKV strains. ZKA190 mAb binds to to the lateral ridge in DIII of the E protein in a unique orientation.

ZKA190 or ZKA190-LALA were administered at 15 mg/kg at different time-points after ZIKV infection to A129 mice challenged with a lethal dose of ZIKV strain MP1745. (A) A Kaplan-Meier survival curve is shown. Experiments used N = 5 mice per group. Significance was determined by using the Mantel-Cox log-rank test. ZKA190 and ZKA190-LALA administered on day 1, 2, 3 or 4 versus Ctr., p = 0.0016. (B) Morbidity score of mice monitored over a 14-day period. (C) Mice were monitored over a 14-day period for body weight loss. Control mAb is MPE8 specific for RSV F protein.
