Specifications
- Antibody Overview
- Humanized Anti-TMEFF2
- Clone
- huPr1
- Linker
- VC (valine-citrulline)
- Linker Class/Description
- Peptide linkers, belonging to Enzymatically cleavable linkers, combine greater systemic stability with rapid enzymatic release of the drug in the target cell. The scission of peptidic bonds relies on lysosomal proteolytic enzymes, which have very low activities in blood due to endogenous inhibitors and the unfavorably high pH value of blood.
- Drug
- MMAE (Monomethyl auristatin E)
- Drug Class/Description
- Auristatins are water-soluble dolastatin analogs of dolastatin 10. Dolastatin 10 belongs to dolastatin family and it can powerfully bind to tubulin, thus inhibiting polymerization mediated through the binding to the vinca alkaloid binding domain, and causes cell to accumulate in metaphase arrest.
Target
- Introduction
- This gene encodes a member of the tomoregulin family of transmembrane proteins. This protein has been shown to function as both an oncogene and a tumor suppressor depending on the cellular context and may regulate prostate cancer cell invasion. Multiple soluble forms of this protein have been identified that arise from both an alternative splice variant and ectodomain shedding. Additionally, this gene has been found to be hypermethylated in multiple cancer types. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
- Alternative Names
- TMEFF2; transmembrane protein with EGF-like and two follistatin-like domains 2; TR; HPP1; TPEF; TENB2; CT120.2; tomoregulin-2; TR-2; tomoregulin; transmembrane protein TENB2; hyperplastic polyposis protein 1; cancer/testis antigen family 120, member 2;
- Gene ID
- 23671
- UniProt ID
- Q9UIK5
