Mouse Anti-ARG2 scFv-Fc Chimera (VS-0625-FY3)

This is an anti-human ARG2/Arginase II, monoclonal recombinant antibody. It binds specifically to human and cynomolgus ARG2, but not to human ARG1. It binds to trimeric ARG2 with high affinity. An anti-ARG2 scFv-Fc is a recombinant antibody construct designed to specifically target Arginase 2 (ARG2). This fusion protein combines the antigen-binding specificity of a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) with the effector functions and improved half-life provided by an immunoglobulin Fc region.
ARG2 is a mitochondrial enzyme involved in L-arginine metabolism, and its dysregulation is implicated in various diseases, including cancer, immune dysfunction, and cardiovascular conditions. By inhibiting ARG2 activity, an anti-ARG2 scFv-Fc aims to modulate these pathways.

May suppress inflammation-related signaling in asthmatic airway epithelium.
May contribute to the immune evasion of H.pylori by restricting M1 macrophage activation and polyamine metabolism (By similarity).
