Recombinant Rabbit Anti-BACE1 Capture Antibody (clone R77-9N-3) (CAT#: VS3-WK1802)
This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human BACE1. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human BACE1 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. The sandwich ELISA was established using matched antibody pair R77-9N-3 and R58-6E-2. The clone R77-9N-3 can be used as a capture antibody in ELISA analysis to identify human BACE1.

- Responsible for the proteolytic processing of the amyloid precursor protein (APP). Cleaves at the N-terminus of the A-beta peptide sequence, between residues 671 and 672 of APP, leads to the generation and extracellular release of beta-cleaved soluble APP, and a corresponding cell-associated C-terminal fragment which is later released by gamma-secretase.
