Recombinant Rabbit Anti-STMN1 Capture Antibody (clone R31-3G-9) (CAT#: VS3-WK1932)
This antibody is a rabbit recombinant antibody against human STMN1. It was developed by immunization of rabbit with recombinant human STMN1 protein and then was produced as a recombinant antibody. The isotype of this product is rabbit IgG. The sandwich ELISA was established using matched antibody pair R31-3G-9 and R25-1X-6. The clone R31-3G-9 can be used as a capture antibody in ELISA analysis to identify human STMN1.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Long Name
- Stathmin 1
- Sequence Similarities
- Belongs to the stathmin family.
- Cellular Localization
- Cytoplasm, Cytoskeleton, Microtubule
- Post Translation Modifications
- Many different phosphorylated forms are observed depending on specific combinations among the sites which can be phosphorylated. MAPK is responsible for the phosphorylation of stathmin in response to NGF. Phosphorylation at Ser-16 seems to be required for neuron polarization (By similarity).
Phosphorylation at Ser-63 reduces tubulin binding 10-fold and suppresses the MT polymerization inhibition activity.
- Protein Refseq
- NP_001138926.1; NP_005554.1; NP_981944.1
- Function
- Involved in the regulation of the microtubule (MT) filament system by destabilizing microtubules. Prevents assembly and promotes disassembly of microtubules. Phosphorylation at Ser-16 may be required for axon formation during neurogenesis. Involved in the control of the learned and innate fear (By similarity).
