10-FnIII scaffold protein anti-Human Tenascin

The tenth fibronectin type III domain (10Fn3) that bound Tenascin was isolated from the library using Phage display technology. The fibronectin type III domain (FN3) is a small autonomous folding unit which occurs in many animal proteins involving in ligand binding. The β-sandwich structure of FN3 closely resembles that of immunoglobulin domains. After affinity maturation, 10Fn3 variants were identified having affinities for Tenascin as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
