Recombinant Anti-TNC Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (ST2146 var.)

The anti-TNC eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human TNC. TNC is a matrix protein involved in neuronal guidance and regeneration during development. The antibody has a novel TNC-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble TNC from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
