Effective Chemokine Neutralization
We needed an antibody to neutralize the bioactivity of Mouse CCL19 in our chemotaxis assays. This rat monoclonal antibody, clone RM0171-10J38, worked perfectly. It inhibited the migration of cells effectively, confirming the role of MIP-3 beta in our specific immune cell trafficking model.
Specific Detection In Western Blot
In addition to neutralization, we used this antibody for Western Blotting. It specifically recognized Mouse CCL19 without cross-reacting with other chemokines we tested. The fact that it is a recombinant rat IgG2 antibody gives us confidence in its quality and reproducibility for our ongoing experiments.
