Recombinant Human Antibody (L5*) is capable of binding to MG (malachite green), expressed in HEK 293 cells. Expressed as the combination of a heavy chain (HC) containing VH from anti-MG (malachite green) fab and CH1-3 region of human IgG and a light chain (LC) encoding VL from anti-MG (malachite green) proteins fab and CL of human light chain. Exists as a disulfide linked dimer of the HC and LC hetero-dimer under non-reducing condition. The L5* FAP studied here is a leucine-to-serine point mutant (Ser89) obtained by directed evolution of L5, which is a VL single domain antibody fragment selected from the original yeast display library.
