Recombinant Anti-MET × Anti-EGFR Bispecific Antibody (Tandem Diabody) is a bispecific fusion protein with four binding sites, two of which bind to antigens of one kind of cells and the other two to the other kind of cells. Tandem Diabodies do not carry Fc domains. So they are smaller than whole IgGs or IgG-derived BsAbs but larger than tandem scFvs. Therefore, they have a shorter serum half-life than IgGs but remain longer in the circulation compared with tandem scFvs. This BsAb can simultaneously block two receptors. It was designed for the treatment of colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, head and neck cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
