Distinct Advantages Of IgY
We decided to try this Chicken IgY antibody to reduce background noise in our Western Blots, and the results were impressive. The antibody specifically reacted with PTPN2 without the non-specific binding often seen with mammalian antibodies in our system. It clearly detected the protein tyrosine phosphatase in our lysates.
Reliable Detection Of PTPN2
This polyclonal antibody was used to detect the PTPN2 isoform 1 in our research samples. The signal was strong and specific in Western Blot analysis. Using a chicken antibody provided an excellent alternative for our multi-color labeling experiments where we needed to avoid cross-reactivity with mouse or rabbit primaries.
