This gene and several other Fc receptor-like gene members are clustered on the long arm of chromosome 1. The encoded protein is a single-pass type I membrane protein and contains 8 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains. This gene is implicated in B cell development and lymphomagenesis. Valuable For B Cell Studies
The anti-FcRH5 antibody clone 10A8 has proven to be a highly specific reagent for our B cell development research. The expression of FcRH5 on chromosome 1 makes it an interesting target, and this conjugate helped us visualize the effects of payload delivery in cells expressing this immunoglobulin superfamily receptor.

Cleavable Linker Performance
We were particularly interested in the performance of the SPDB linker in this conjugate. The disulfide linkage demonstrated excellent stability at physiological pH, and we observed efficient release of the DM4 maytansinoid payload upon internalization, which is consistent with the intracellular reduction mechanism we are studying.
