Scorpion toxins scaffold protein anti-Cu2+ ions (CAT#: SSX-L183)

The Scorpion toxin that bound Cu2+ ions was isolated from the library using Phage display techonology. After affinity maturation, Scorpion toxins variants were identified having affinities (KD=42 nM) for Cu2+ ions as determined by biosensor technology. It's potential to be used in diagnostic, research and therapeutic applications.
