Mouse Anti-ACTG2 Recombinant Antibody (AC558)

The anti-ACTG2 recombinant antibody (AC558) reacts with human ACTG2. ACTG2 is a smooth muscle actin isoform found primarily in the enteric and urinary tracts. It polymerizes to form thin filaments required for peristaltic contraction. Mutations in ACTG2 disrupt smooth muscle mechanical signaling, causing MMIHS (Megacystis-Microcolon-Intestinal Hypoperistalsis Syndrome). The anti-ACTG2 antibody (AC558) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
