Rabbit Anti-C4BPB Recombinant Antibody (VS13-YC109)

The Rabbit Anti-C4BPB Recombinant Antibody is specific for human and rat C4BPB. C4BPB encodes a regulatory component in the complement pathway, forming multimers that control complement cascade activation and function in coagulation regulation through protein S binding, located on chromosome 1. The anti-C4BPB antibody can be used for Western blot (1/500-1/1000), Immunohistochemistry (1/50-1/100), Immunofluorescence (1/50-1/200), Immunoprecipitation (1/60).

- Function
- Controls the classical pathway of complement activation. It binds as a cofactor to C3b/C4b inactivator (C3bINA), which then hydrolyzes the complement fragment C4b. It also accelerates the degradation of the C4bC2a complex (C3 convertase) by dissociating the complement fragment C2a. It also interacts with anticoagulant protein S and with serum amyloid P component. The beta chain binds protein S.
