The anti-CCL20 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human, cynomolgus and rhesus CCL20. CCL20 is a chemokine attracting lymphocytes, inhibiting myeloid progenitor proliferation. The antibody has a novel CCL20-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CCL20 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
