Recombinant Anti-CCN1 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (093G9 var.)

The anti-CCN1 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human CCN1. CCN1, a growth factor-inducible protein, promotes cell adhesion and affects angiogenesis. The antibody has a novel CCN1-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble CCN1 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
