Rat Anti-Ctcfl Recombinant Antibody (Ct13)

The anti-Ctcfl recombinant antibody (Ct13) reacts with mouse Ctcfl. Ctcfl (BORIS) is a paralog of CTCF expressed primarily in the testes. Unlike the ubiquitous CTCF, BORIS is a "cancer-testis antigen" often aberrantly expressed in tumors. It competes with CTCF for binding sites, leading to the reorganization of chromatin structure and the activation of oncogenic genes like MYC and TERT, promoting a "germ-cell-like" program in cancer. The anti-Ctcfl antibody (Ct13) has been tested in Western Blot (WB).
