Recombinant monoclonal antibody specially binds to amino acids 60-62 of cow cytochrome c. This mouse anti-cytochrome c antibody (76A7.E5) can be useful in the treatment of diseases caused by infection or DNA damage.

Rat and horse cytochromes c, respectively, were adsorbed to microtiter plates, and the abilities of the following cytochromes c to inhibit the binding of the mAbs to the adsorbed antigens were examined.
