The R04-2A1 recombinant monoclonal antibody is involved in the recognition of human DAB2. It cross-reacts with rat. It is suitable for use in a variety of assays, including WB, ICC/IF, IP. This DAB2 antibody is guaranteed for western blot analysis of DAB2 in Hela, A549, HL-60, U2OS, C6 lysates and immunocytochemistry analysis of DAB2 (green) in hela using DAB2 antibody.

- Adapter protein that functions as a clathrin-associated sorting protein (CLASP) required for clathrin-mediated endocytosis of selected cargo proteins. Can bind and assemble clathrin, and binds simultaneously to phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(4,5)P2) and cargos containing non-phosphorylated NPXY internalization motifs, such as the LDL receptor, to recruit them to clathrin-coated pits. Can function in clathrin-mediated endocytosis independently of the AP-2 complex.
