The anti-DNMT3A product is a recombinant mouse monoclonal antibody that exhibits a high affinity for human DNMT3A protein, a calculated weight of 101.9 kDa. It cross-reacts with mouse and rat. This monoclonal antibody is potential for conducting research on the treatment of Tatton-Brown-Rahman Syndrome; Heyn-Sproul-Jackson Syndrome. The monoclonal antibody can be used in Western Blot assay.

- It modifies DNA in a non-processive manner and also methylates non-CpG sites. May preferentially methylate DNA linker between 2 nucleosomal cores and is inhibited by histone H1. Plays a role in paternal and maternal imprinting. Required for methylation of most imprinted loci in germ cells. Acts as a transcriptional corepressor for ZBTB18.
