Mouse Anti-EDAR Agonistic Antibody (clone EDAR12)

The agonistic mouse antibody reacts with EDAR (Ectodysplasin A receptor), which is a receptor for the soluble ligand ectodysplasin A, and can activate the nuclear factor-kappaB, JNK, and caspase-independent cell death pathways. EDAR12 was prepared by immunixzing female OVE1B mice (with the Edar gene deleted) subcutaneously with mouse EDAR-Fc and positive hybridoma clones were screened for binding mEDAR by ELISA. This antibody specifically reacts with human, mouse, rat, dog, chicken EDAR. It has been tested using Western Blot, ELISA, Agonistic assays and Surface Plasmon Resonance.
