This AI-derived phospho-specific mAb, anti-EIF4EBP1 (AibG-Rb-BP133), offers exquisite selectivity for 4E-BP1 phosphorylated at the Thr 37 and Thr 46 sites. EIF4EBP1 (4E-BP1) is a repressor of protein translation; phosphorylation at Thr37 and Thr46 by mTORC1 serves as the initial step to release it from eIF4E. This event is a critical regulatory switch for cap-dependent translation signaling in response to nutrient and growth factor availability.
