Specific H5N1 Detection
We required an antibody that could specifically bind to the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus H5N1, and this recombinant macaque antibody (clone 32ku) delivered. We used it in Western Blotting and it identified the viral proteins accurately. A vital tool for virology research.
Works In Immunofluorescence
I tried this antibody for Immunofluorescence microscopy on infected cells, and the staining was excellent. It is interesting that it is derived from immunized rhesus macaque lymphocytes. It provides a unique specificity profile that has been very helpful for our influenza studies.
