Recombinant Anti-HGFAC Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (Fab40. deltaTrp var.)

The anti-HGFAC eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human HGFAC. HGFAC is a protease converting HGF to its active form, influenced by alternative splicing. The antibody has a novel HGFAC-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble HGFAC from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
