The anti-IL22 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human IL22. IL22 is involved in immune pathways and associated with diseases like scleritis and hidradenitis. The antibody has a novel IL22-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble IL22 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
