Mouse Anti-IRF9 Recombinant Antibody (IR576)

The anti-IRF9 recombinant antibody (IR576) reacts with human IRF9. IRF9 is the essential DNA-binding subunit of the ISGF3 (Interferon-Stimulated Gene Factor 3) complex. Unlike other IRFs, it does not require direct phosphorylation for activation but instead binds to phosphorylated STAT1 and STAT2 heterodimers in response to Type I or Type III Interferon signaling. The resulting ISGF3 complex translocates to the nucleus to drive the transcription of hundreds of Interferon-Stimulated Genes (ISGs). IRF9 signaling is required for the sustained execution of the antiviral state, and its dysregulation is associated with both impaired viral clearance and autoimmune pathologies like systemic lupus erythematosus. The anti-IRF9 antibody (IR576) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunoprecipitation (IP).
