CD11c antibodies can be fused with liposomes to effectively induce immune responses. Research has demonstrated that liposomes containing antigens can significantly enhance antibody production in CD11c+ cells. By utilizing CD11c antibodies, targeting and specificity can be improved, leading to more effective vaccine design and delivery.

- This immunoliposome has the potential to inhibit tumor growth and prolong overall survival.
- Immunoliposomes Method
- The liposome solution was introduced to a mixture of 2-IT and anti-CD11c monoclonal antibody, maintaining a molar ratio of 100:1, and the suspension was stirred for 1 hour. Subsequently, the suspension was purified using an AKTA Prime protein purifier in combination with a Sepharose CL-4B gel column to eliminate unencapsulated OVA and any un-crosslinked CD11c monoclonal antibodies, resulting in the formation of LC-targeting immunoliposomes. As a control, immunoliposomes conjugated with CD19 monoclonal antibodies were also prepared.

- This gene encodes the integrin alpha X chain protein. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This protein combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte-specific integrin referred to as inactivated-C3b (iC3b) receptor 4 (CR4). The alpha X beta 2 complex seems to overlap the properties of the alpha M beta 2 integrin in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium cells, and in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

It recognizes the sequence G-P-R in fibrinogen.
