CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-LAMB1 Recombinant Antibody (VS13-YC642) (CAT#: VS13-YC642)

The CytoStream™ Rabbit Anti-LAMB1 Recombinant Antibody is specific for human and mouse LAMB1. LAMB1 encodes laminin beta subunit, part of matrices involved in adhesion, migration, and signaling during development. It displays unique chain and domain structures, affecting basement membrane integrity and neuronal migration, with involvement in laminin-1 formation. The anti-LAMB1 antibody was developed and selected by our CytoStream™ platform and the mAb is recommended for use in flow cytometry staining (1/50-1/100).

  • Alternative Names
  • Laminin Subunit Beta 1; Laminin B1 Chain; Laminin, Beta 1; Cutis Laxa With Marfanoid Phenotype;Laminin-10 Subunit Beta; Laminin-12 Subunit Beta; Laminin Subunit Beta-1; Laminin-1 Subunit Beta; Laminin-2 Subunit Beta; Laminin-6 Subunit Beta; Laminin-8 Subunit Beta
  • Long Name
  • Laminin Subunit Beta 1
  • Cellular Localization
  • Secreted; Basement membrane
  • Function
  • Binding to cells via a high affinity receptor, laminin is thought to mediate the attachment, migration and organization of cells into tissues during embryonic development by interacting with other extracellular matrix components.
Involved in the organization of the laminar architecture of cerebral cortex.
It is probably required for the integrity of the basement membrane/glia limitans that serves as an anchor point for the endfeet of radial glial cells and as a physical barrier to migrating neurons.
