Rabbit Anti-MAP2K1 Recombinant Antibody (VS3-FY2793) (CAT#: VS3-FY2793)
This anti-MAP2K1 antibody is a rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that has been designed to bind the human MAP2K1 protein. It cross-reacts with mouse, rat species. The monoclonal antibody can be used in the area of Cardiofaciocutaneous Syndrome 3 and Melorheostosis, Isolated. The antibody can be utilized for detection of target protein by Immunoprecipitation (1/20), Western Blot (1/500-1/1000), Immunohistochemistry (1/50-1/100) and Immunocytochemistry (1/50-1/200).
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Post Translation Modifications
- Phosphorylation at Ser-218 and Ser-222 by MAP kinase kinase kinases (BRAF or MEKK1) positively regulates kinase activity (PubMed:29433126, 8131746).
Also phosphorylated at Thr-292 by MAPK1/ERK2 and at Ser-298 by PAK (PubMed:16129686).
MAPK1/ERK2 phosphorylation of Thr-292 oCcurs in response to cellular adhesion and leads to inhibition of Ser-298 phosphorylation by PAK

- Function
- Dual specificity protein kinase which acts as an essential component of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway.
Binding of extracellular ligands such as growth factors, cytokines and hormones to their cell-surface receptors activates RAS and this initiates RAF1 activation.
