This product is a recombinant Human antibody that can recognize MERS-CoV S. The antibody recognizes the receptor-binding domain of MERS-CoV S glycoprotein and interferes with the interaction between viral S and the human cellular receptor human dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4). This antibody is a human neutralizing monoclonal antibody that completely inhibits MERS-CoV replication in common marmosets.

Potent Neutralizing Antibody
This human monoclonal antibody, MCA1, was highly effective in our neutralization assays against MERS-CoV. It targets the receptor-binding domain of the S glycoprotein, interfering with DPP4 interaction. We observed significant inhibition of viral replication, confirming its potency and functional activity.
Specific For MERS-CoV S
We used this antibody for ELISA detection of the MERS-CoV S protein. It showed high specificity and did not cross-react with other coronaviruses in our panel. The recombinant production in CHO cells ensures batch-to-batch consistency, which is vital for our ongoing viral studies.
