Recombinant Anti-MMP2 Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (3G11 var.)

The anti-MMP2 eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human MMP2. MMP2 is a gelatinase involved in nervous system processes and syndromes affecting bone and joint integrity. The antibody has a novel MMP2-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble MMP2 from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
