This product is a mouse anti-myeloperoxidase (MPO) monoclonal antibody. The 6D6 bounds to the native form of MPO and had a high constant affinity for MPO as demonstrated by real-time specific interaction.
Figure 1 Binding activity of monoclonal antibody 6D6.
Binding activity of monoclonal antibody 9B5 (a) and 6D6 (b) detected by solid-phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using myeloperoxidase (○), myosin (•), rabbit IgG (▿), proteinase 3 (▾), ssDNA and histones (□) as the antigen.
Vittecoq, O., Brard, F., Jovelin, F., Le Loet, X., Tron, F., & Gilbert, D. (1999). IgM anti-myeloperoxidase antibody-secreting lymphocytes are present in the peripheral repertoire of lupus mice but rarely differentiate into IgG-producing cells. Clinical & Experimental Immunology, 118(1), 122-130.

Figure 4 Overlay plots illustrating the binding of monoclonal antibody 6D6 and 9B5 at the concentration of 25 nm to immobilized myeloperoxidase.
A flow-rate of 5 μl/min was used and for each curve, 15 μl of antibody were injected.

Western blot analysis of monoclonal antibody (mAb) 6D6 and 9B5 using nonreduced (lanes 1 and 2) and reduced myeloperoxidase (lanes 3 and 4). Molecular weight markers are indicated on the left hand part of the figure. Lanes 1 and 3: mAb 6D6; lanes 2 and 4: mAb 9B5.
