Recombinant Anti-MSMP Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (3D5 var.)

The anti-MSMP eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human MSMP. MSMP may play a role in prostate cancer development as part of the beta-microseminoprotein family. The antibody has a novel MSMP-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble MSMP from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
