Human Anti-oxLDL Recombinant Antibody (clone P2-8) (CAT#: FAMAB-0233YC)
Provided is anti-oxLDL autoantibody driven by antigens. The clone, P2-8, bound to both MDA-LDL and Cu-oxLDL, and inhibited the uptake of oxLDL by macrophages, suggesting the epitope recognized by the antibody is a part of ligands on oxLDL that is involved in uptake by macrophage scavenger receptor.

Uptake of FITC-labeled Cu-oxLDL at concentrations of 0.1 μM (50 μg/ml) and 0.2 μM (100 μg/ml) by mouse peritoneal macrophage cells was measured.
