Rabbit Anti-PSEN1 Recombinant Antibody (clone R01-3J6) (CAT#: VS3-XY3477)

This antibody is a recombinant rabbit antibody against PSEN1 (Presenilin 1). The antibody specifically recognizes human PSEN1. It also has cross-reactivity against mouse and rat PSEN1. It has been reported for use in Western Blot and Flow cytometry. The recommended dilutions of Western Blot and Flow cytometry is 1/500-1/1000 and 1/50-1/100, respectively.

  • Function
  • Catalytic subunit of the gamma-secretase complex, an endoprotease complex that catalyzes the intramembrane cleavage of integral membrane proteins such as Notch receptors and APP (amyloid-beta precursor protein) (PubMed:15274632, 10545183, 10593990, 10206644, 10899933, 10811883, 12679784, 12740439, 25043039, 26280335, 30598546, 30630874, 28269784, 20460383).
Requires the presence of the other members of the gamma-secretase complex for protease activity (PubMed:15274632, 25043039, 26280335, 30598546, 30630874).
Plays a role in Notch and Wnt signaling cascades and regulation of downstream processes via its role in processing key regulatory proteins, and by regulating cytosolic CTNNB1 levels.
