Rabbit Anti-SEPT7 Recombinant Antibody (clone R09-6A1)

CAT#: VS3-FY1880

Clone R09-6A1 is a rabbit recombinant antibody that has a high affinity for human SEPT7 protein, a calculated weight of 51 kDa. It cross-reacts with mouse, rat.
The following recommendations serve as a starting point for assay optimization. The actual working concentration may vary and should be determined by the user. The R09-6A1 is recommended for detection of target protein by western blotting (dilution range 1:500-1:1000), immunofluorescence (dilution range 1:50-1:200).

  • Function
  • Filament-forming cytoskeletal GTPase. Required for normal organization of the actin cytoskeleton. Required for normal progress through mitosis. Involved in cytokinesis. Required for normal association of CENPE with the kinetochore. Plays a role in ciliogenesis and collective cell movements. Forms a filamentous structure with SEPTIN12, SEPTIN6, SEPTIN2 and probably SEPTIN4 at the sperm annulus which is required for the structural integrity and motility of the sperm tail during postmeiotic differentiation.
