Mouse Anti-SMS Recombinant Antibody (SM513)

The anti-SMS recombinant antibody (SM513) reacts with human SMS. SMS (Spermine Synthase) catalyzes the production of spermine from spermidine. Polyamines like spermine are essential for cell growth and DNA stability. Mutations in the SMS gene cause Snyder-Robinson Syndrome, a rare X-linked condition involving intellectual disability and skeletal defects. The anti-SMS antibody (SM513) has been tested in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunoprecipitation (IP).
