Recombinant Anti-SPARC Eliminating Antibody, pH-Sensitive (Imml 2 var.)

The anti-SPARC eliminating antibody is an engineered pH-sensitive antibody against human SPARC. SPARC is a matrix-associated protein impacting collagen calcification and associated with tumor processes. The antibody has a novel SPARC-sweeping activity in vivo, which selectively eliminatesthe soluble SPARC from plasma. Compared to conventional antibody, the mAb exerted in vivo efficacy by simultaneously engineering both pH-dependent antigen binding, to mimic the pH-dependent receptor-ligand binding of such endocytic receptors, and increased FcRn binding affinity at neutral pH, to mimic the cell-bound form of the receptors.
