Provided is a mouse monoclonal antibody. The antibody is specific for human recombinant La antigen in ELISA and inhibition by soluble La. It also binds ssDNA and dsDNA.

Purified IgG anti-La monoclonal antibodies were pre-incubated with various concentrations of purified recombinant La protein and tested by ELISA for binding to polystyrene plates coated with 1μg/ml of La protein.
