The anti-STEAP1 pH-dependent antibody (VS-0825-YC317) is a pH-responsive antibody engineered to target human STEAP1. This pH-switched monoclonal antibody (mAb) was developed by incorporating histidine residues into its variable regions, which results in pH-biased binding to STEAP1. By leveraging the natural pH variations in different tissues and cellular compartments, this pH-responsive antibody facilitates precise targeting of STEAP1 on cells and tissues. Human STEAP1 (Six Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of Prostate 1) is a cell surface protein that is frequently overexpressed in prostate cancer and other solid tumors, making it a promising therapeutic target.
