Mouse Anti-ZP2 Recombinant Antibody (ZP598)

The anti-ZP2 recombinant antibody (ZP598) reacts with human, mouse and rat ZP2. ZP2 is a structural component of the mammalian oocyte's extracellular matrix (the zona pellucida). It serves as a primary sperm receptor during fertilization. ZP2 signaling undergoes a critical proteolytic cleavage by ovastacin after the entry of the first sperm; this "zona block" prevents polyspermy by rendering the matrix impenetrable to additional sperm. The anti-ZP2 antibody (ZP598) has been tested in Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Flow Cytometry (FC).
