Recombinant anti-BMX intrabody in fusion with HIV Tat works within cells to bind intracellur antigen BMX, expressed in 293T cells. These antibodiess bind specifically to recombinant BMX and efficiently block its kinase activity. When expressed in transformed cells, these antibodiess associated tightly with Etk, leading to significant blockade of Etk enzymatic activity and inhibition of clonogenic cell growth in soft agar.
