Recombinant Anti-human CASP3 Intrabody [+36 GFP]

Recombinant anti-CASP3 intrabody in fusion with +36GFP works within cells and specifically binds to pro-apoptotic protein CASP3, expressed in CHO cells. These intrabodies are useful drugs on their own as well as a means for identifying small compound drugs for degenerative diseases involving oxidative-stress-induced apoptosis.

GFP with a theoretical net charge of +36 (+36 GFP) penetrated several different mammalian cell lines at very low (nanomolar) concentrations. Cationic peptides and proteins have been observed to penetrate cells, and both natural and synthetic cell-penetrating peptides are widely used as delivery vehicles. However, whereas a covalent link between the cell-penetrating peptide and its cargo is typically required.
