Recombinant Anti-human DLG4 Intrabody [+36 GFP]

Recombinant anti-DLG4 intrabody in fusion with +36GFP works within cells directed against endogenous neuronal protein DLG4, expressed in E. coli cells. The intrabody can report the localization and amount of endogenous synaptic proteins in living neurons and thus may be used to study changes in synaptic strength in vivo.

GFP with a theoretical net charge of +36 (+36 GFP) penetrated several different mammalian cell lines at very low (nanomolar) concentrations. Cationic peptides and proteins have been observed to penetrate cells, and both natural and synthetic cell-penetrating peptides are widely used as delivery vehicles. However, whereas a covalent link between the cell-penetrating peptide and its cargo is typically required.
