This product is a recombinant human anti-Hepatitis B virus monoclonal antibody (C2). C2 specifically binds to surface antigen associated with HBV and can be potentially used in the diagnosis and treatment studies of Hepatitis B virus infection. C2 showed significant HBsAg-binding specificity by ELISA using recombinant HBsAg. KD values of antibody C2 to HBsAg is 9.95 nM.

HBV Antigen Detection
We employed this antibody in our virology lab to detect Hepatitis B Virus surface antigens in culture supernatants. The antibody showed high sensitivity in our sandwich ELISA format. It helped us monitor the replication kinetics of the virus under different drug treatments. The product quality is consistent, and it is a staple in our HBV research pipeline.
Specific Virus Binder
This antibody demonstrated excellent specificity for HBV, with no cross-reactivity to HCV or other hepatotropic viruses we tested. We used it for immunofluorescence staining of infected hepatocytes, and it provided clear visualization of viral protein accumulation.
