Anti-PROM1 immunotoxin (scFv)-Sap (CAT#: AGTO-G057S)
This immunotoxin was achieved by conjugating/fusing the Anti-PROM1 scFv to saporin. It was expressed in CHO and purified with affinity chromatography. The immunotoxin selectively binds to PROM1+ cells in localized primary tumors or metastasis and enters cells by receptor-mediated endocytosis. Upon release of the conjugate from endosomes, the saporin toxin catalytically renders the large subunit ribosomes unable to bind the elongation factors and inhibits protein synthesis. It was designed for treatment of acute lymphocytic leukemia.
We specialize in custom recombinant antibody production, offering seamless execution from provided sequences to high-quality antibody deliverables, ensuring optimal yield and purity.

- Molecule Class
- scFv-Sap
- Toxin Description
- Saporin is a so-called ribosome inactivating protein (RIP), due to its N-glycosidase activity, from the seeds of Saponaria officinalis (common name: soapwort).Saporin depurinate the ribosomal RNA in a specific position; rendering the large subunit of ribosomes unable to bind the elongation factors. The consequent arrest of protein synthesis is responsible for the cytotoxicity.
- Applications
- This product is suitable for use in cytotoxicity assay, functional assay and immunotherapy.
